The TagCloud feature on slice is generated from the descriptive key words in events. When you are adding a new event, if you want to add a tag simply include a comma separated list of words in the "Tags" box down at the bottom of the event description (bet you wondered what we were going to do with that box).
The slice tag cloud is built on the fly and it groups events that are using the same tag. For example, your organization is sponsoring an art forum. You put in the tag "art" when you create the event. Another group does the same thing. The word "art" will then appear in larger text in the tag cloud since it now has more than one event associated with it.
Although it is tempting to use distinct words for your event, try to use tags that will be used by others as well. This actually increases the visibility of your event and the likelihood that it will get noticed.
We do reserve the right to filter out certain words from the tag cloud, but we don't plan to unless we are forced to by circumstances.
